Guido sold the best pizza in Brooklyn. He had learned how from his Mama, a woman who understood why fresh matters in the Old Country. Guido's Pizza was therefore the busiest pizza parlor in Brooklyn, with customers standing in line for a seat. But Guido was ambitious; he wanted to expand into the now vacant shop next door so he could serve not only pizza but his Mama's special Marinara Sauce on their home-made pastas along with those knife thin slices of her special sausage and the roasted Mozzarella cheese dish that they reserved for special holidays.

Then, Guido imagined, he would open up franchises. Guido fancied the business model of McDonald's, Guido had hopes of becoming an International businessman with several shops in Manhattan. He sometimes gazed across the water to New York City, promising himself and his Mama, now deceased, that it would be so. He would even build a shop in their village back in Italy.

His Mama would be proud.

So Guido went down to the see the Capo, Mr. Clametto for a loan. Mr. Clametto sometimes came by to have a pizza, Clametto was always dressed well, in an expensive suit and bright tie.

Mr. Clametto slapped him on the back and shook his hand.

“What! You need money, God forbid you should have to ask when you make the best pizza I had in my life, even home in Sicily. Vinny will set you up. Say no more.”

Vinny had counted out 50,000.00 clams in hundreds on the way out, backed by the full faith and enforcement of Mr. Clametto's organization, Costa Nostra. Guido had never seen so much money in his life.

Today, Guido's Pizza has a different kind of clientèle and Guido understands that there was a hook in the cash.

Too much cash always has a hook, embedded deep enough so you do not see it. There would be no chain of shops serving wonderful food for Guido, only barriers to dreams.

Some racketeers come in flashy ties. Others wear quieter apparel but the hook is always ready and waiting.

Today Americans are finding the hook in the mortgage they took out on their home. Some of the mortgages written in the last seven years promised – and gave the borrower – 125% of the value of the house. Borrowers could hardly believe that it could be so easy to realize their dreams. Vacations, desperately needed medical treatments for those they loved, making their home into the vision they had hungered to have when they were still young enough to enjoy it. There were lots of reasons for borrowing. But those loans were made when the dollar was solid and real estate seen as an investment that could be expected to be better than gold. Those dreams are also dying. You see, your government has found a way to convert your home into a form of currency and you into a serf.

Vinny and Mr. Clametto wanted their money. So do those better dressed racketeers.

Sometimes when Mr. Clametto wanted to distract attention from what was really happening he would focus attention elsewhere. That is what has been going on with banks and mortgages today. According to the FBI, “ Mortgage fraud is a significant and growing concern in the United States. Mortgage fraud schemes are perpetrated by individuals acting alone or in collusion with borrowers, loan originators, or real estate professionals. All mortgage fraud schemes contain a material misstatement, misrepresentation or omission relied upon by an underwriter or lender to fund, purchase, or insure a loan. Given the significant role of mortgages in our economy, mortgage fraud has been recognized as a significant criminal problem by the FBI and has been treated accordingly.”

Individuals, like Mr. Guido, get a few thousand dollars more than necessary, still on the hook for the whole amount, and the bank writes a 'mortgage' using money that suddenly comes into existence like the Genie in the Bottle, having existed no place else but on a line entered into an account.

Notice that the FBI will not be investigating the banks. The chatter about 'mortgage fraud by individuals or your local broker,' is laid out by such as the FBI to distract you from the larger con, which is now reaching fruition.

We have a word for that, we call it collusion to commit fraud, massive fraud on a scale that threatens the International monetary system. This is racketeering that would have numbed the mind of Mr. Clametto with awe and envy. He might even buy a more subdued tie.

The conspirators, in this case, are those in charge of our government and their friends in banking. Proof of this lies in the fact they are now suspending foreclosure on homes. This fraud runs from your neighborhood to the White House in a trail of broken hearts and dreams of ordinary Americans. If that were not bad enough, we have also been victimized by political doublespeak where phrases like 'home ownership' are better understood as slavery.

There is an answer.

The first step on that path is to let the truth sink in. Then we, the people, need to come together and take action. The predatory nastiness of recent years has its roots in the same ugliness cited by Brigadier General Smedley Butler in his book, “War is a Racket,” published in 1935.

War is one kind of racket; real estate, the stock market, and nearly every part of your life, has sprouted with other rackets run by the same kinds of people. These con games, rackets all, are run by people very much like Mr. Clametto, though more conservatively dressed, who graduated from schools like Yale and live pampered lives. They expect wealth; they expect that they will never be held accountable for their own actions.

Smedley Butler was the most decorated general in America and had been the recipient of two Medals of Honor. Lowell Thomas, famous himself, said of Butler in the introduction written for the Reader's Digest version of, “War is a Racket,” “Even his opponents concede that in his stand on public questions, General Butler has been motivated by the same fiery integrity and loyal patriotism which has distinguished his service in countless Marine campaigns.”

Butler was personally responsible for stopping the attempted military take over of America's government in 1934. Among those who plotted that take-over was Senator Prescott Bush, the grandfather of George W. Bush. Clearly, W. is obsessed with finishing the job his grandfather started.

Then, as today, the media was owned by the corporations. The investigation in Congress, arising from the disclosure by General Butler, was quashed. General Butler died in 1940.

The job of wresting our lives back from the clutching grasp of the CorporaState remains to be accomplished. The book, “War is a Racket,” is not easy to find today but is one you should find and read. When you understand change will happen.

Get off all the grids. This is not the vision our founders had for America. What we see today is a fascist state biggest than anyone could have imagined possible.

There are solutions, and those solutions take us back to the foundational values that forged the vision that is America. Because America is not our government and not land or even the people. It is a destination on the horizon that beckons us to find connection with each other through myriad acts of good will.

There are solutions to each of these problems because while they were busy picking our pockets the world was changing. The promise of connection is being fulfilled; transparency in all things is a precondition to the connections now becoming obvious. America will not only survive, it will become the model that will remake the world.

Get started.

Off the Grids

Most of us are scared. We know that the economy is out of control, the dollar is on a downward spiral that will take with it our pensions and hopes for prosperity and security. America is facing real problems – but there are solutions and those solutions can take us to a place that is much better than you imagine.

The problems above all originate in Grid Points that we have been forced onto through strategies carefully orchestrated by corporations, such as petroleum companies and power companies working with and through government. In effect, we have paid to forge our own shackles and then lock them in place. Do not think for a moment that those who are profiting did not understand where the policies we were sold over the last many years would take us.

It was power companies and government that decided that your electric company was a quasi-governmental agency without liability for anything they do. That is why when the electric company causes fires, burns out motors, or leaves you without power, it is not liable. But they are quick to turn off your power. Today most Americans live only months, or days from disaster. That must change and those changes hinge on understanding how we got here and how to move forward into a better world. It can happen and it will.

You can get off the grids and back to real security and a freedom that is true and not illusion. Endless indulgence was always an illusion. No matter what those in power said the free ride had to end, and it has.

America was seduced into believing that consumption and emotional disconnection is freedom. It isn't and it never was. Real freedom starts with responsibility and community, helping others and standing tall in the knowledge that your honor is intact because you have done right by others and yourself. That is something people like George Bush can never feel because their sense of power comes from deceit and generations of violence visited on all of us. George Bush would be funny if he weren't so dangerous. This year consider buying a Christmas card that sends a message that makes you laugh and speaks real real peace. Doing so supports our work. Because we are free and reject, as did Christ, the use of deceit, manipulation or violence we need to be conscious about our relationships with others and find ways to grow into the sense of connection and community that makes us One in Him.

This is especially true for Christians but it is true for everyone else as well.

Nearly every major spiritual viewpoint enunciates the idea that we are connected to each other and should be good to each other. Christians just have an even more exacting mission. Christians are to love every one, treating them as they would Jesus.

Jesus was very clear about how we were to treat others. He did not say that it was alright to be abusive, deceitful, and violent if we used government as our tool and agent. There was no exception, He wanted all of our hearts, minds and souls. Christ did not lay out any plan of government, but left it to the conscience of the individual, the same way He connects to each of us.

We are Americans but we are also members of a human family that connects us to something truly wonderful and immense.

So our job here at the Spiritual Politician is to look at Government as a human tool we use every day. We need to consider if government is working in a way that speaks that common understanding about our connections to each other and, if it is not, we need to change it.

Americans have had many successes over the last 231 years since our founding and, learning from both mistakes and successes we can consider that question. So here at the Spiritual Politician we look at the truth behind of rhetoric.

Given what is going on today in Government what we may decide to do it reboot the whole system.

If you were school age in the 1950s to 1960s you probably remember the frightening experience of cowering under your desk. That threat, screaming from posters and from the media, was nuclear war. Then, children went home to relative security; the economy was booming. Schools were well funded and the future looked bright, despite the once a month drills.

Since the fall of the Soviet Union we now know that Communism was never a threat to America. Again. Communism was never a threat.

Those who used that threat did so to intimidate Americans into accepting a foreign policy that enabled the growth of what President Dwight Eisenhower called the Industrial-Military Complex in the wake of World War II. CIA involvement across the world continued, focused on the rapacious hunger of petroleum companies for a steady supply of oil and customers for munitions.

Those in power always knew this.

Eisenhower biographer, Michael Korda, said that Eisenhower, more a political general that a commander, was well aware of the danger because, “He knew the "military-industrial complex" inside out, he had helped to create it, so he knew what he was talking about, and warning against.”

Presidents change, the Industrial – Military Complex continued. Today we call them by other names, but they are essentially unchanged and they are still driving American foreign policy. They needed a new boogie man. This time they are using 'radical Islamics,' a threat no more real that Communism was in the 50s and 60s.

Today school children in Oregon and elsewhere across the country are facing a very different reality that tells them that the world is frightening, not just because they spend a few minutes under their desks but in so many ways that it is difficult to even comprehend what children are taking in about the world. Those who create that faux reality know exactly what they are doing and why. That reason is simple profit. Their tools are ugly and include torture, psychological manipulation and lies.

PsyOps was originally used as a tool for corporate policy two generations ago. What we experienced in the 50s and 60s was nothing less than that. With the acquisition of the media that tactic has only been extended further into our lives to secure profits. Nuclear annihilation. The Bird Flu. Terror from all sides scream at children today. The bottom line is more money for corporations and government. Less for us. Profit by any means, is the motto followed by those in power.

Programs at schools are being cut. Children have no health care but learn nothing because of the incessant screed of “No Child Left Behind,” that steals their time, replacing learning with rote and indoctrination. Their older siblings are inundated with recruiters paid bounties to get them to enlist. When siblings and other relatives come back from 'serving their country' with problems they are ignored to death. The DU those returning ingested kills them, causes birth defects in their children. Many of these veterans will not even live long enough to end up abandoned on the streets as the economy continues into its death spiral.

Rumors are circulating that Vigilant Shield will be releasing low grade radio active material as part of their 'operation.' Even with this administration that nearly defies belief. But given their record for honesty the threat must be taken seriously. It is a fact that returning Iraqi veterans are not told about treatments that remove the DU from their own systems. The failure to treat then raises a constellation of further issues.

The Americans who are supposedly made 'safer' through these drills could be tazered or shot if they question authority. Protest has become a life threatening activity.

This is reality. Vigilant Shield is part of their implementation.

Many residents of Portland are now either leaving the area for the period of the 'exercise' or have moved far enough away to feel more secure. They are not worried about foreign terrorists, but about the ones from Homeland Security and the police who are pledged to Serve and Protect. Militarized police, chosen to follow orders are now in place, following the orders of those in the Federal government despite the fact this is clearly unconstitutional.

A former Major in the Marine Corp., William Fox, a veteran of military intelligence who spent 2 – 3 years with an interrogation translation team moved 85 miles upwind of Portland last month. Major Fox had learned during his military training that asking questions could side line your career. He raised questions at his first morning's training in classes at the Intelligence School in the early 90s. The response from his instructors, he said, was paranoid.

Asked if he expected something to happen in Portland the Major said, perhaps. If so, that would most likely occur on Tues, Wednesday or Thursday of next week. Monday, he said, would be settling in day.

Major Fox commented that today Americans are controlled in ways that creates a stark contrast with Europeans. Traveling through Switzerland the Major sat next to a Swiss reservist on a train. The man casually placed his heavy machine gun on the rack above. The Swiss practice full preparedness by arming all adult men with machine guns and by supplying them with training and the needed materials to run a decentralized resistance if and when they are ever invaded. The country is well armed and the crime rate, low.

In America gun control is a given for nearly all presidential candidate today. Slowly, America and its people have been boiled alive like that lobster in the pot.

The steps that have brought Americans to this place in time have been used before, on other people. Naomi Wolf, in her article last spring, "Fascist America, in 10 easy steps." made those steps painfully clear. According to Wolf, countries move from open to closed and repressive societies through a manufactured process. It is not accidental. Wolf makes the case that the United States is following the pattern as it played out in Nazi Germany with little variation. The 10 steps are:

Invoking an external and internal threat
Establishing secret prisons
Developing a paramilitary force
Surveiling ordinary citizens
Infiltrating citizens' groups
Arbitrarily detaining and releasing citizens
Targeting key individuals
Restricting the press
Casting criticism as "espionage" and dissent as "treason"
Subverting the rule of law

It is easy to recognize the progression. Next week, October 15 – 20. Those in charge are very unwilling to say. “Vigilant Shield,” (Do they pay third rate science fictions writers to come up with these names?) a training that makes no American more secure, will being in Oregon, Phoenix, Guam and perhaps the Philippines

Oregon, along with every other state government, is desperate for money. The Feds moved to take control of the money through the Reagan Administration in California beginning in the 1960s. It remains true that California foretells the future of America. The Federal government, taking nearly every penny Americans produce, gives back penalties and control.

Yet Homeland Security can pay out big bucks to put children and all of residents through 'scenarios' with less likelihood of occurring that the sighting of a flying saucer. What happened to the security that worked? That takes place locally, handled by the people themselves in their communities and stays there.

Capt Huber from the Yamhill Co Sheriffs office said a drill that took place there yesterdays was funded by Homeland Security. He added that the school children had undergone, “weeks of training before.” In the Boston Herald a report from a parent sent chills through families. Physicians are now forced to ask about drug usage, drinking, possible gun ownership and whether or not Daddy is touching the child inappropriately. The child involved was in for a check up before engaging in sports.

The intention of the Federal government is clear. By imposing pointless and expensive 'drills' on such cities as Portland, Oregon the PsyOps continues; fear becomes endemic. The people are forced to look to 'authority' in fear of their lives. Citizens there and across the country now fear the government far more than they do the unlikely specter of terrorists from elsewhere. The many tazerings and assaults on individuals by those charged to protect have sent that message.

Many fear that the massive deployment in Portland, Phoenix, and Guam, coming on the heels of the still unexplained loss of an armed nuclear bomb just this last summer portends a false flag event, a justification for enacting a martial law that will never end.

Those with experience, observing events, believe that the process is intended to promote a state of perpetual fear that will render citizens compliant, frozen and unable to act in their own defense.

America is bleeding money, its people at risk in every way you can imagine. But Americans remain a people with deep reservoirs of courage. Those who have worked so diligently to cancel the Constitution will find out that it is they who will, in the end, be held accountable. Remember to get their names, those will be needed.

The means for change, and retribution, remain in the hands of the people. The question that those Power Punks should ask themselves is just how lucky they feel.

Sometimes a man's gotta do what a real man knows is right. In the case of a handful of sheriffs in 1993, that meant putting it on the line for the Constitution. Today, Sheriff Mack is doing it again.


There is no greater need in America today than the need to get the Federal government out of our lives. That is the opinion expressed by individuals across the political spectrum.

America's Constitution laid out a limited role for the Federal government. That role was clearly defined; nearly all of the functions for government staying either with the states or the people; instead of respecting the limited scope of the duties assigned Federal government has ignored every barrier intended to protect Americans from the assault of misapplied authority.

Those acting under orders from Congress, the President, or any other authority should take note; under the mandate of the Constitution you are guilty of treason. They shoot traitors. The question is not if, but when.

Just because those now abusing power are not now charged does not mean they can evade accountability. That accounting will, inevitably, come.

The precedents are how firmly loaded and locked. Americans are patient. During the period leading up to the Revolution there was a long period when the colonists asked for redress. Then they stopped asking, establishing a new theory of government from the idea wherein the sovereignty was directly in the people. That theory was immortalized in the Declaration of Independence.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, —“
The Constitution is merely the tool adopted to carry out that mission, covered in the subsequent paragraph.

“That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

The government of the Constitution is the plumbers helper the Founders chose. It of itself has no rights and can be changed at will. Despite the manipulations on the part of all branches of the hired help, Congress, Executive, and the Supreme Court, the mission statement remains the foundation on which the rights of individuals stand. America is not its government; America is the people who decide what they will use to organize their communities. Government is just that plumbers helper we use to keep the lines flowing smoothly.

Attempts on the part of those now in power to create the appearance of a continued mandate through stolen elections, lies, and fraud are all actionable offenses covered under Title XI. Those involved have no place to hide when accountability is exacted.

The logic of events now unfolding will take us to America's own Nuremberg Trials; those considering whether or not to cooperate with the treasonous agenda now in motion need to confront that reality.

Americans, right and left, are now moving towards a consensus on taking governance back to the most local level. Formerly big government leftists are reregistering Republican to support Ron Paul, the only presidential candidate whose record is consistent regarding the Constitution. Other campaigns, largely funded and promoted through corporate interests gauge only their popularity with the corporations in control.

Paul promises nothing but to get the Federal government out of the lives of Americans and Americans are listening and working to get him the Republican nomination.

The Paul campaign, divided into the formal, reporting Headquarters located in Arlington, Virginia and the fluid, volunteer driven, decentralized campaign that is redefining the tools provided by the Internet, represent a revolution themselves. The formal organization is largely ineffective, according to activists across the country. The power and weight of the Paul Campaign comes from the people, most of them focused on the issue of the Constitution.

Because of the media blackout and the lack of means for assessing the grassroots factors the real size of the campaign is mostly unreported and overlooked. Those involved, who see it on the ground estimate its size to be four times as large as indicated by conventional means of measuring effectiveness.

Therefore, the amount associated for the third quarter, in this week, should not be the $5,100,000.00 raised but $20,000,000.00. In that third quarter the money raised came from 127,000 individuals. That is monumental.

All signs point to a massive movement coming into existence, involving factions and factors that are all but invisible to those in power. Over the last months the cooperation and communications between those diverse factions has increased.

When historians write the history of this time the continuing oblivion of those in power will strike the reader.

Taking governance back to the local level involves several related steps. Understanding the role of those legally empowered to act on behalf of the people is just one of those steps. Other factors include alternative energy, rejection of the role of Federal power, the swelling peace movement, and the call from Evangelical Christians for no support of the mainstream candidates, a strong indicator of sentiment in the group that was once the mainstay of the present regime. The trends are unmistakable.

The Sheriff in each county can order the Federal government out.

In each county the Constitutional power is placed in the hands of those elected to exercise those powers on behalf of the citizens. The chief law enforcement officer in each county is therefore the Sheriff.

What is clearly laid out is the chain of authority. The broad strokes of the future are therefore determined. The questions here are all details, essential, but just details.

Agents attempting to enforce Federal laws, statutes, or regulatory mandates over the objections of the county sheriff are acting in violation of the Constitution.

The relationship of the Federal government with counties was determined by the Supreme Court in 1997 with the Mack - Printz Decision. That decision affirmed the standing of the sheriff in a county to order Federal agents out when the Sheriff deems federal law to be unconstitutional.

The issue had arisen with the passage of the federal Brady Gun Control Act. Attempts to assert Federal control over local law enforcement failed, resulting in the Mack – Printz Decision. Sheriff Jay Printz of Montana and Sheriff Richard Mack of Arizona, refused to cooperate with the asserted power of Federal law enforcement.

That decision did not stop the Feds.

Today there are more laws that are Unconstitutional than those that stand the test. Despite attempts at conversion of power from the states to what is effectively a federalized serial monarchy, none of those attempts are allowed by American principles or by the Constitution.
When Sheriff Jay Printz walked out of the meeting held in Helena, Montana, having realized that he was being asked to violate the Constitution no other Sheriff got up and followed him. People tend to be herd animals; the herd stayed to be intimidated, deer caught in the headlights of life.

At a sheriff's association meeting in Phoenix, Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack was handed a documents from ATF to all of the sheriffs assembled. Mack read the paper placed in his hands and noticed that there were gross misstatements of even the Constitutionally questionable bill that Congress had passed into law in 1993.

What Mack saw was the most intrusive bill in the history of the country. Sheriffs were threatened with arrest if they refused to comply. “Who ever knowingly fails to comply with these provisions is subject to a year in jail and a $10,000 fine or both.” The phrase was burned into his mind; he had announced on public radio that he would not comply.

Both Printz and Mack sought injunctive relief. Attorney General Janet Reno tried to back off, writing a memo saying this only applied to gun store owners. The transcript tells another story.

The transcripts from Congress showed that it was the intention to arrest local law enforcement. This is clear evident of collusion to commit treason; a long term move to continue the conversion. Those who voted and spoke for this in Congress are therefore guilty. As subsequent moves to militarize local police and shift the nexus of control to the Federal government continues through such measures as LESO, more people in the pay of government are making themselves vulnerable to justice, delayed but inevitable.

Today Sheriff Mack is beginning a campaign to awaken in sheriffs across the country the need to adhere to the Constitution.

The Nuremberg Trials were filled with flaws of procedure; the rights of many were violated, some confessions were extracted by torture – but the principle of accountability remains clear. Abuses should never have been allowed. This time we need to make sure that the record is clear on each individual charged. From the local cop who tasers a student who asserts his right to ask questions to the CPS who uses delegated authority to take a child from parents so that child can be sold to others; From those at the state level who cooperate; to those in Congress who take the lavish pay and benefits in exchange for providing the means whereby Americans are to be enslaved. All need to face the consequences of their actions. An accounting is due and it will happen just like the stone dropped from the top of the cliff eventually hits the bottom.

The confrontation is coming. And when the people take back their government the Trials will follow. Now is the time for those individuals who have placed themselves in service to tyranny to read the Constitution, understand the truth and what the costs will be to each of them.

We are free to choose, free to live, to breath, and to live our lives as we see fit. Government does not own us; government is just a contractor, providing service.

That framework is in alignment with the spiritual truth that each of us connects to God directly, needing no agency as an intermediary. To be free is to be free in the spirit and so in the flesh that temporarily holds the spirit.

When Thomas Jefferson said we were all possessed of inherent rights, existing before government he was extending a spiritual truth into a civic form. It is that Mission Statement from the Declaration of Independence we need to keep in mind.

Because we are free and reject, as did Christ, the use of deceit, manipulation or violence we need to be conscious about our relationships with others and find ways to grow into the sense of connection and community that makes us One in Him.

This is especially true for Christians but it is true for everyone else as well.

Nearly every major spiritual viewpoint enunciates the idea that we are connected to each other and should be good to each other. Christians just have an even more exacting mission. Christians are to love every one, treating them as they would Jesus.

Jesus was very clear about how we were to treat others. He did not say that it was alright to be abusive, deceitful, and violent if we used government as our tool and agent. There was no exception, He wanted all of our hearts, minds and souls. Christ did not lay out any plan of government, but left it to the conscience of the individual, the same way He connects to each of us.

We are Americans but we are also members of a human family that connects us to something truly wonderful and immense.

So our job here at the Spiritual Politician is to look at Government as a human tool we use every day. We need to consider if government is working in a way that speaks that common understanding about our connections to each other and, if it is not, we need to change it.

Americans have had many successes over the last 231 years since our founding and, learning from both mistakes and successes we can consider that question. So here at the Spiritual Politician we look at the truth behind of rhetoric.

Given what is going on today in Government what we may decide to do it reboot the whole system.

At the beginning of the 1770s waves of distrust and tension had already caused America's colonials to view the Royal Governors and England's Monarchy with caution and hostility. Colonial Americans had removed to the New World for a variety of reasons but a love of government was not among those.

For many, including the Puritans and Quakers, two of the major groups who made up the population prior to the Revolution, the intention was to try new forms of organization based on very different ideas about their relationship with God. Through town governments that depended on a small group of people using persuasion the ideas of individual freedom had been in use for generations by then. General Gage, the commander of the British forces based in Boston in the period before the Concord Alarm and the Shot Heard Round the World was advised to force the replacement of town governments with oligarchic British borough governments. Gage correctly saw that would not work.

Those ideas explored the idea that God endowed each individual with an immediate and personal relationship with Him. Remote from England the ideas that were born from the most ancient ideas of Christianity found resonance with new ideas then finding light in the works of John Locke and other writers on the ideas of Natural Rights.

The ideas of individual freedom had moved into the realm of politics through a process that had been going on for six generations. Getting things straight can take time.

General Gage wrote copious letters to his own commanders in England explaining that he could not seize the leaders of the Rebellion because in their place others would simply take action. Organizing action in New England had become decentralized, with individuals using their ample initiative. In this way the Sons of Liberty came together as a secret society and the Committees of Correspondence began meeting to build consensus.

America would be characterized by the initiative of its people until the present monarchy arose, asserting through changed practice that sovereignty was again held by government instead of by individuals who hired government to handle some things for them. Again, the initiative of a free people has responded to refute that assertion.

The players in this Revolution are very decentralized.

Linda Hunnicutt, the Granny Warrior, met Ron Paul for the first time in 2005 when she was on a personal crusade to stop the busibodiness of government. Linda had become aware that the U. S. Department of Agriculture was interfering with the right of individuals to own exotic animals and become active on the issue.

Linda and her husband were licensed to care for exotic animals for many years, starting a sanctuary for animals in Florida. As a trained caretaker for exotic animals of all species, Mrs. Hunnicutt had bottle raised over 200 orphaned baby monkeys; many of these were sold to zoos or placed with families trained to care for them. When she left Florida she took one small monkey with her. His name is Buddy.

As Thomas Jefferson noted in the Declaration of Independence, the people will put up with a lot before they decide that action must be taken. Having heard about legislation that would categorize monkeys as inherently dangerous Linda and her fellow Warrior Granny, Karen Racca from Texas headed to Washington D. C..

Linda and Karen parked their huge RV outside of Congress so they could speak to the Fisheries Committee then meeting that had the power to put an end to such foolishness. The bill under consideration was H. B. 1329. The amendment would keep people from traveling with their monkeys and Buddy would hate that.

Walking in they encountered a slight, gray-haired man who obligingly offered to show them where to go. So Congressman Ron Paul showed them to the Fisheries Committee room. No one ever explained why the Fisheries Committee would be considering the question but it made as much sense as anything in Washington D. C., she figured.

Linda and Racca got the law changed that day. No more trips to D. C. were necessary. Linda is very persuasive.

Linda kept working but she also became aware that there were more issued with government than she had imagined possible.

Then, in March of 2007 a swat team, two sheriffs, and an agent from the USDA came to her door demanding she sign a permit to keep Buddy. Linda was just back from Virginia where she had helped Danny and Cindy Henshaw , whose hogs had been shot dead by the USDA with no notification. Linda was told that if she refused to sign the permit, which would in effect be a contract allowing them access at any time to her home, they would take Buddy away from her right then.

Linda was alone, her husband at work. She leaned her 30/30 rifle up against the door and told them she would not sign. One of the swat team asked her if she was going to shoot someone over a monkey. Linda replied that she would shoot someone over a ground hog if it were her ground hog. Then she broke out her Constitution and Bill of Rights and explained why they did not have a right to come into her home or question her about Buddy.

After the remedial civics lesson Linda suggested they leave. The swat team and sheriffs turned around and left leaving the USDA agent standing there alone. Then he scampered away, too.

Initiative and knowing your rights makes all the difference. Linda could see that immediate action was necessary.

The more Linda had learned about Ron Paul, the nice guy who took time to help her, the clearer it became to Linda that Ron Paul was the only candidate she could trust and so, determined to see him elected President, she took to the road in The Freedom Ride, sharing with ordinary Americans the words and history of a man they could trust to put the Federal government in order, eliminating much of its infrastructure and returning power to the people.

Linda has been at every major Ron Paul event, following the action across the United States. In the last 5 months the crowds have grown in size and become increasingly knowledgeable about what went wrong with government, she says. She would know. Linda represents the original courage and integrity of Americanism. Her travels in the Freedom Ride show just what ordinary people can do.

Today there are 700 Ron Paul Meet-up groups. Tens of thousands of activists are working to elect Ron Paul President of the United States – so he can return America to the form of government agreed on in 1787. Ron Paul activists make their own signs, register Ron Paul Republicans, rally, and let the establishment know that they cannot ignore the people.

At some point they began calling it the Ron Paul Revolution. That is true in ways they cannot even imagine.

The Ron Paul Campaign has a National Headquarters that maintains a website and does fundraising but that is the smallest part of the campaign. The real Ron Paul campaign is being carried out by unpaid activists working in their communities and on line through action taking place with individuals and small, local groups. It is an replication of the original form for cooperative action that empowered the American Revolution. Its activists think of it as Revolution II.

The issue underlying the activism is the form Americans will use to provide services through what we think of as government. The Constitution and Bill of Rights say that if the people can do it themselves, through community or privately, then government has no role. The Ron Paul Revolution is proving that, as was true at the time of the Revolution, the people can do it themselves. Illustrating the truth is the best way to persuade; the Ron Paul Revolution effectively provides the community level infrastructure for local organizing in politics so that other community organizations can take on the jobs that so desperately need doing for all of us.

If we had kept that form at the time of the Revolution we would be better off today, living in communities that were practiced in doing it themselves.

Government has let us know they are not to be trusted or relied on. Katrina and dozens of other incidents, the War in Iraq and the rape of our monetary system, the coming economic meltdown, have let us see their real agenda. George III was a piker in comparison.

Churches, fraternal orders, women's clubs, and the other organizations that once provided nearly all our essential infrastructure can then begin repairing the damage that governments and corporations have caused.

Ron Paul has committed himself to return federal government to the role and power set for in by the Constitution. That is tiny. He has committed to expunge the IRS, the Department of Education and many other agencies that take to themselves the power that is reserved to the people.

When Ron Paul is inaugurated Linda intends to be there with Buddy. It will be one heck of a party for all Americans.

Jim Guest was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2002 with the class of 90 new Representatives. This large class was a result of term limits being voted in by the citizens of Missouri.

A graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla he holds a B. S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and an M. S. Degree in Engineering Management. After twelve years in Aerospace with Douglas Aircraft in California he went into business for himself in Northwest Missouri.

Jim is an active member of his church and his community. As a state legislator he knew immediately that action needed to be taken to oppose the Real ID. The movement that springs from that is bringing together Americans from all over the country to oppose the latest link in the shackles that are intended to convert American into a feudal state.

According to Jim Guest this is a completely nonpartisan issue, with supporters split nearly evenly between Republican and Democrat. Guest is, himself a Republican who is supporting Ron Paul for the presidential nomination of his party.

Representative Guest will let you know what you can do to turn back this imminent threat to your sovereignty as an American and a program that moves power not to the Federal level but to the international level as an adjunct of the North American Union.

Now, we can see the outline of the plan to turn America into a plantation as the dots connect to shackle every one of us.

Despite its name and the smooth arguments advanced the Real ID is Real Fascism. Starting in just three years the Federal government intends to make it impossible for you, an American, to open a bank account, travel on a plane, collect Social Security payments, or take advantage of nearly any government service.

The House of Representatives has already approved a standalone version of the Real ID That proposal was covertly inserted through a bill on military spending. This is being rushed into law even as Americans awaken to the danger they face from their own government.

Americans are fighting back. Missouri Representative Jim Guest said, “enough,” a year ago and began working on a coalition to keep the Real ID from moving Americans ever closer to the Real Matrix. Across the country today 26 states have enacted legislation refusing to cooperate with the program and as of now twelve other states have resisting legislation either in committee or ready for a vote. An organization to oppose the Real ID was started by Rep. Guest several months ago. That organization is called, Legislators Against the Real ID.

In the 60's we were fighting to bring the boys home from a war that was destroying the soul of America; today we are fighting not only to bring them home but to have a home for them to return to. The music that the 60's and 70s generation heard, that resonated deeply into mind and soul has become a part of that generation. At each time in our history the music has been point, giving us direction and disseminating the ideas of freedom, justice, and peace.

Today the music is rising and one of those who is creating that music is Brett Kimberlin, Director of Justice Through Music (JTM), a non profit org that works with famous bands to inspire young people to vote and support civil rights. JTM has helped to register tens of thousands of people to vote over the past five years through its website, text messaging software and on the ground campaigns at colleges and music events.

On the show we will be talking about the music, the music Brett is creating, the movement it is powering, and all the music that is rising to challenge our present direction politically and consciously.

Every national election season, JTM produces a ROCK YOUR RIGHTS DVD featuring interviews and concerts of 25 bands discussing important issues of the day. JTM gives away tens of thousands of the DVDs to voter registration orgs around the country to educate youth and urge them to get involved with the political process. Recent artists include the Indigo Girls, Dar Williams, the FIXX, Yellowcard and Ministry.

JTM has also given voice to artists and bands that need an outlet to express their protest music. The JTM website, www.jtmp.org, has scores of protest videos and songs from bands of all genres. JTM was the first online site to stream Neil Young’s Living With War CD, and JTM is helping to promote Al Gore’s Live Earth concert on July 7^th.

Two years ago, JTM co-founded VelvetRevolution, a non-profit org that focuses attention on election reform, media reform, conflict resolution and government accountability. VR reaches millions of people each month and now has over 150 organizations affiliated with it and it has become a leader on many of these issues.

Brett is a seasoned musician and songwriter, and leads the band, Op-Critical . The band works closely with JTM to create protest songs and videos. Recently, he wrote new lyrics for the John Lennon song, Happy Xmas, War is Over. It is now called Happy Springtime, Bush is Over. JTM produced a video of the song featuring the Harmonic Angels children’s choir singing the chorus. In the first two weeks on YouTube and MySpace, the song and video have been played over 100,000 times.
